December 30, 2009

Well – here you go.  My last post of 2009.  I can’t believe it’s already over, and on the same hand – I can’t believe it’s finally over!  🙂  Tomorrow, I will ring in the new year at the ski resort, enjoying all this fresh powder I’ve been cursing driving all over today!  Can’t wait.  Then a night out on ‘the town’ without the kids.  And sleeping in to top it all off.  Now that you know my plans, I hope you all have a wonderful New Years.   Here’s to 2010!

I’m so glad we have such cute friends & cute little ‘nieces & nephews’.  They’re not really blood related, but we’re definitely family.  Love them!  This little Diva – baby L, wanted nothing to do with me, my headbands & flowers, the props & definitely not the lights!  My battery died in my transmitter for the session, so one of my goals for 2010 is to have millions of those lil’ babies stocked up just in case!  I had only used it once.  For the love!!  But we were still able to get a couple of cute pics.  Enjoy!!

Doesn’t Heidi have the cutest kids?  I think so!  They were adorable & it’s always fun to get together.  Thanks again!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!  We had a wonderful Christmas, but I think I’ll spend the next week or so recovering.  I love this time of year, but I’m always ready for a new year to come.  I have a lot to catch up on, a studio that’s almost ready & am looking forward to 2010.  Here’s a peak at what I’ve been up to aside from wrapping gifts, painting and chasing sugar-high children.  🙂  This is my friend Heidi’s little girl, Ava.  She is beautiful & has such a fun personality.  Heidi will be shooting in my studio a couple times a month, so we got together to practice shooting.  She got this dress at Persnickity in the mall.  I need one because it’s so freakin’ adorable, but I don’t think it will look as cute on me!!  😉  lol

I love this one in the chocolate, and the antique, so I put it on twice.  There are a lot more pictures to come, but I’ve only had time to edit these two so far.  Enjoy!

Moriah + Travis {Kaysville Utah Wedding Photographer}

December 20, 2009

Moriah & Travis were my first wedding!  I’ve shot other weddings with other photographers, as a second shooter – but theirs was my first wedding as ‘the photographer’.  My sweet friend Heidi came with me to help & I was so grateful.  It was a snowy, cold day – poor Moriah was freezing outside.  But  again, I think it was worth it.  The pictures turned out great.  Here’s just a preview of a few of my favs.

December 15, 2009

I love this family!  It reminds me of my family growing up – except we had 3 girls & 1 boy.  I can’t imagine getting 4 girls ready on Sundays & family picture days.  🙂  Guess that’s why I have boys.  Aren’t they all so beautiful?!?  Enjoy.

This darling little guy was a trooper!  It was only 18 degrees when we pulled up for the shoot!  And he was so sweet.  We were quick and got some great shots…. so it was totally worth freezing!

December 8, 2009

You’ll be seeing more of this family once the studio is done!  Unfortunately the weather decided to go crazy, and we couldn’t go outside in the blizzard – so we shot a few indoors for the card, and we’ll be doing more later in the studio!  These turned out cute though…
